This pine is a dwarf variety of the scottes pine and has a mutation causing it to spontainiously bud back and randomly add candling amounts. The whole tree candles once a year, some candle twice if trimmed, some do it on their own. Some candles are normal. Almost every single needle becomes a candle the next year. It forms candles that only have 3 or four needle groups. This causes tight masses of candles and pads form easily, this one is shown after one years defoliatiin down to three needles groups per candle. The needles are shrinking each year. It is approaximatly 50 years old but its hard to tell sense it puts on maybe half an inch per year growth on a good year. Weaker branchs only grow a few millimeters. So given that the root base is 6 inchs in diameter and it is about 19 inchs tall. Given those measurements the photos should explain the rest.
